The Argyle Participation Agreement which includes the Indigenous Land Use Agreement and Management Plan Agreement together are arguably the most comprehensive arrangements ever made between a resource company and Traditional Owners negotiated in Australia. They are the result of one of the most comprehensive agreement processes undertaken with Traditional Owners. The unique structure of the Participation Agreement reflects the aspirations of both Argyle and the Traditional Owners. The agreement provides a firm base for an enduring partnership and sustainable prosperity for Traditional Owners during the life of the Argyle mine and also once mining is completed.
