Forward in Business.

In 2006 Gelganyem Trust funded a study into ideas for Aboriginal businesses. A consultant visited the seven family groups associated with Gelganyem Trust to gather their ideas for business ventures. The research also identified the barriers that exist for Aboriginal people who want to establish and operate businesses in the community and elsewhere and what supports would be required to help business ideas become a reality and to operate successfully.

The research report titled Business Opportunities Analysis included a list of all business ideas identified, summarised the barriers to success that were identified and presented ideas about the supports that could be provided to overcome these barriers.
