School Holiday Programs.

Soon after Gelganyem Trust’s establishment in 2005 Traditional Owners (TOs) identified the need for activities during holiday periods that included a strong cultural component and took place “on country” with the active involvement of Elders and other community members.

The focus of holiday programs is for kids to have fun on country and elders and other adults to share their cultural knowledge with children and young adults. It gives many people the opportunity to visit places they may not have been able to travel to for several years.
